Color Field Theory is a body of work that is an invitation to rest and to recognize places that are joyful in our everyday lived experience. These photographs are celebrations of naturally occurring colors that happen in open vistas such as the fields of northern Maine. The images titles, “Always Going Home”, refer to the horizon as a place that is ever-present yet always out of reach, slightly mythical and always open to interpretation.
